Participants will be able to:

  • Understand how a class website creates a child centered classroom, engages learners and encourages class communication.

  • Attach Cloud tools to a class website for use in assessment and student communication.

  • Setup project based learning models/quests for use in the classroom.

Google+ Communities

 

For a continued conversation about EdTech Tools and Integration, I have created a Google Community called CPS EdTech Integration. In this community we can share questions, successes, and resources. Please create a personal Gmail account to access this as the CPS email does not allow for Google+ as of now. About Me: Jeanette Simenson

 

  • University of Wisconsin-Madison, played volleyball

  • Undergrad in film, worked at 20th Century Fox after college.

  • Played Professional Beach Volleyball on the AVP Tour.

  • Moved back to Chicago and went into software sales while completing my Masters in Education.

  • Coached volleyball at UIC and Evanston High School.

  • Then took the job at Goethe Elementary as a 7th grade Reading and Math teacher in 2006.

  • With the birth of my second boy one year after my first, I transitioned into the computer lab/techco position.

  • Completed my CAS in Educational Technology in 2014

  • The past three years have been leading our technology initiatives at our school. 

  • Continue to coach volleyball and am the recruiting coordinator for Chicago Elite Volleyball Club.

  • Passionate about technology making all of our lives easier and more connected!
